The APTA Learning Center website is a great resource to use when searching for CEU courses in the future. They have links to available classes based on topic, audience, and also have FREE courses available on their website. The APTA guarantees the quality and endorses the courses it lists on the website. It is a great resource for APTA members looking for quality CEU courses.
You can find the APTA Learning Center at the following link: http://learningcenter.apta.org/Courses.aspx
Another good resource from the APTA for continuing education credits is their Courses and Conferences page. It has the link to the learning center mentioned above but it also has links to national conferences and an event calender that you can search to see if there are smaller conferences in your area.
    The link is: https://www.apta.org/CoursesConferences.aspx?navID=10737422670

This is a resource that gives a very in-depth list of different assessment tools that can be used by a Physical Therapist. This website gives not only the title of the assessment, but it also gives the length of time that the assessment takes, how much it costs to obtain, what area of assessment is being looked at, if training is required, and if the instrument is available in PDF format. I think that this is a very good resource would be a very keep on hand especially with the growing demand of outcome measures.

    Medicaid Programs in Kansas
In Kansas, the Medicaid program is covered by three insurance companies. These are Amerigroup Kansas, Inc., Sunflower State Health Plan, and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Kansas. Each one of these groups have slightly different requirements that must be met in order to treat and receive reimbursement. From the www.kancare.ks.gov website, a provider can find information that will be useful in practice. Also, from this website, a provider can get to any of the insurance companies that run the Medicaid program in Kansas. These websites will be equally important when needing to find out the finer details of each program.
